MY SCRAMBLER. MY WAY OF GETTING LOST.

THE STORY

WHY THIS
MOTORCYCLE.

I like classic motorcycles. I love scramblers. Cause motorcycle is freedom - for me. Freedom of options to go every way I just see. Tarmac, gravel, sand, everything.

I wanted a motorcycle that felt good on the road, could take me off it, and had enough character to make even an ordinary ride feel like an adventure. It was Desert Sled or Yamaha Tenere or Triumph Scrambler XE/XC. Yamaha is perfect choice but its just adventure bike. I wanted the scrambler look. And Triumph was too strong and too heavy.

Over time, it became more than a bike I ride. It's the machine I've been learning on, travelling with and slowly changing to fit the way I want to go.

This page is my ongoing journal of that process: what I've changed, what works, what doesn't, and what I still want to figure out.

THE BUILD

THE MOST IMPORTANT MODIFICATIONS.

Those things are MUST if you want this thing ride well in offroad:

01

21" FRONT WHEEL

Maybe more optional but a 21-inch Excel front rim replacing the original 19-inch wheel is making a such difference.

For sure one of the bigger changes to the bike's off-road setup.

02

OFF-ROAD TYRES

Motoz Tractionator RallZ tyres. 30/70 - they will put you out of missery.

03

HANDLEBARS & RISERS

28mm Fatbar handlebars and risers to adjust the riding position, especially when standing.

04

RALLY FOOTPEGS

Wider off-road footpegs for more room and a more secure stance on the bike. Honestly the first thing you need to do.

05

PROTECTION & LIGHTING

Protection for travelling off-road, plus auxiliary lights.

THE EXPERIENCE

RIDING NOTES.

ON THE ROAD

There's a reason I wanted to keep a motorcycle that could still be enjoyable on the road between two off-road sections. This two cilinder is powerful just enough.

Very agile, fast and playful. But not good for great distances.

OFF THE ROAD

It's not hard enduro. Everyone knows that. But with 21" I would say - its a stylish Tenere.

Two cilinder is great but not for offroad. Everyone knows that I guess. The weight can be limiting. But we have Pol Tares who gives us inspiration to be like him. So shut it and learn how to ride like Pol Tares.
